The EU Commission promote Industrial Hemp cultivation as it contributes to the European Green Deal objectives by highly efficient carbon storage, little or no need for pesticides or irrigation, braking disease cycles in crop rotation, preventing soil erosion and contributes to Biodiversuty.

Business Alliance for Commerce in Hemp (BACH) has identified over 50 000 uses of Industrial hemp, ranging from textiles, fuels, green chemicals, food and nutrition, pharmaceuticals and much more.
